When manual cutting takes place, templates are used by the modelling department in order to be able to cut out patterns from the leather with a high level of precision. These templates are used to produce stamping patterns for batch production. The stamping department uses leather to create individual components from the upper, lining, intermediary and reinforcing materials.
Stitchings may produce a range of footwear items, including shoes, boots, sandals, clogs and moccasins. Such items are generally made of leather, wood, rubber, plastic, jute or other plant material, and often consist of multiple parts for better durability of the sole, stitched to a leather upper part.Shoes that are meant to be worn in extremely adverse conditions are made using the double-stitching production method. This method makes shoes remarkably robust and waterproof, in addition to lending them a sturdy look.
The assembly department is the heart of shoe production, where the shoe upper (upper part of the shoe) and sole become the finished shoe. Also in the assembly of shoes most of the work steps are carried out in skilled manual work.
Molding machines are a production process by forming raw materials using a frame or model called a mold. That mold can be filled with liquid or solid material though. This process method uses a rubber base material which is used for outsole shoes.
